AGPL License
The Affero General Public License ("AGPL") is a
FLOSS license
derived from the
GPL,
and created with the permission of the
Free Software Foundation.
The AGPL includes one additional section as compared to the
GPL version 2,
namely that the complete source code be made available to any
network user of the software.
Despite its similarity to the
GPL version 2,
the AGPL is
incompatible
with the
GPL version 2
because of the additional clause.
However, drafts of the
GPL version 3
include a clause that explicitly allows linking
GPL version 3
software with
AGPL version 2 software.
